Upcoming Trip- Ranthambore Tiger Reserve

Upcoming Trip

There’s nothing more exciting than a spontaneous trip planned in less than 3 hours! this weekend I had that “lets just get up and go ” feeling…. and so I did exactly that…. I’m Booked and getting ready to go into the wilderness with a dear friend. T.N.T will be in gorgeous Ranthambore in 3 days…. Cant wait to watch the tigers do what they do best….. while spoiling myself in ultimate luxury at the Oberoi Vanyavilas!

Ranthambore National Park is one of india’s largest tiger reserves. Located in the Sawai Madhopur district in historic Rajasthan, it used to be the hunting play ground for royalty. Today it is a “Project Tiger” reserve. The jungle is the main attraction of course, but it is only sweetened by the gorgeous vistas of the Aravali & Vindhya mountain ranges and the magnificent Ranthambore Fort. Add to that seeing the most handsome big cat in its natural habitat, and there’s nothing like it anywhere else.

The Oberoi Vanyavilas is undoubtedly one of the Oberoi’s most exclusive properties. It’s no wonder that in season room tariffs are nearly $1000 per night! Located in the Jungle at the mouth of the National Park, the property has only 28 luxurious tented rooms, private butler service, excellent food and amenities that one can’t get enough of. The service and staff are par excellence and you are sure to be made to feel like royalty! If me gushing about it isn’t proof enough, check out their impressive list of accolades and awards from the most honourable names in the travel business. There’s a reason this place is voted one of the world’s best resorts!

I’ve been back to Ranthambore and Vanyavilas  twice already this year. This will be the third time. Can’t seem to get enough of this magical place. Looking forward to blogging from there, welcoming ideas from readers about what they’d like to read about….Stay tuned.
